My son went in to pick up two orders or Halibut and fries. He was welcomed warmly and the order was filled promptly. When he brought it home and I opened my dinner box the aroma of the fish was amazing. Everything was still hot. Perfectly battered, not greasy, and a generous amount of fries for the price. I asked my son to get me some tarter sauce and they were generous with that as well as putting malt vinegar in the bag which was appreciated. In my opinion it's the best Fish place around.

Went in for Lunch with my Wife last week. Simply put, this is the best Fish & Chip joint in Durham Region. Really nice booth seating, very clean and well maintained. Great service & a really friendly, down to earth owner. Won’t be going anywhere else for my fish & chips fix! Check it out you won’t be disappointed! A+

Third fish and chip restaurant I’ve tried in the Durham area, this was the best thus far, fresh cut potato’s, halibut was cooked to my desire! It came all in, fish and chips, coleslaw and tartar sauce, I had a side of gravy. I’ll be back again.

Always great staff n Amazing . Nowadays it's hard to find a quality piece of fish bc most places will cut the fish in half so its so thin so I was looking thru ads for fish n chips n Oshawa used to have good places but its everywhere so I tried just outta Oshawa. Found this place and now it's hands down my go to Fish n chips. Halibut is my favorite and I get it well done n everytime Wow its great n chips good n gravy is great too. So it checks all the boxes for me. Plus u ad a super nice owner I recently got to meet can't ask for much more!

My husband and I have eaten here before and really enjoyed the fish and chips. We ordered them again today and were pleased that the quality was consistent and the price was low. The fish portion was large and the batter was thin and crunchy. YUM!!! The fries tasted like they were freshly-cut and had a tiny pinch of salt. The gravy was thick and very tasty. Our meals were made and served by the owner who was helpful and friendly and our surroundings reflected that Maritime charm. We will definitely return for more!

Really good fish and chips! We walked in on a Friday evening and had fresh cooked fish and chips ready for takeout within 15 minutes. Large portions and reasonable prices for what you get. Friendly service, too. :) I moved out of the area so this was perfect nostalgia on my visit back. This will be our go to for future trips.
